Schedule
Each 3 credit hour course is taught in three 5-week modules:
*Week 1: "E" – Engage in Leadership Opportunities:
- Engage in live class session(s) and subscribe to FranklinCovey LeaderU course material
- Preview of organizational greatness program content; review expectations & upcoming topics
Week 2: "L" – Learn from Leadership Experiences:
- Work through LeaderU content and/or facilitator-assigned materials
- Participate in coaching moment (via Zoom): Facilitator and peer discussion board
Week 3: "E" – Employ Leadership Tools:
- Establish leadership toolkit through videos, e-modules, and articles; Implement knowledge of leadership tools to an assignment and/or case study
- Participate in coaching moment (via Zoom): Facilitator and peer discussion board
Week 4: "A" – Accept the Leadership Challenge:
- Develop action plan with a SMART goal, strategies, and accountability methods
- Participate in coaching moment (via Zoom): Facilitator and peer discussion board
**Week 5: "D" – Demonstrate Leadership Mastery:
- Attend live session with group breakout discussions and share final action plan
- Leave with a personalized plan for applying leadership skills
*For the first week one module, live attendance needed – Remote (Zoom) attendance only for extenuating circumstances. For the following two week-one modules, Lamar Leadership Studies partners may be remote (Zoom) to attend live sessions.
