Ready to make sleep a priority? The Seize the Zzzz Challenge comes to Buena Vida this July
and offers a simple way to focus on healthy sleep habits that support your overall well being.

    Here’s what you need to know:
    • Challenge dates July 15 – Aug. 11, 2026
    • Registration dates: July 1 – 22, 2026
    • How it works: Track your sleep on 21 of the 28 challenge days and answer “Yes” when asked if you got a good night’s sleep. Participants who track at least 21 days and report good quality sleep on at least 14 of those days may earn 25 Buena Vida Bucks.
    • Why it matters: Quality sleep can support energy and focus, mood and stress management, immune health and overall well-being.
    • Prize drawing: Everyone who completes the challenge will be entered into a drawing for Buena Vida swag.
    • Not eligible for Buena Vida? You can still participate using a manual tracking form available through your wellness coordinator.

    About the Speaker:
    Holly Cuozzo is a senior wellness program manager with WebMD, who is dedicated to the state of TX employees. Holly has earned a Master of Science degree in Sport and Exercise science with an emphasis on sports nutrition. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in education and community development. She is a certified personal trainer within the American College of Sports Medicine and the National Council on Strength and Fitness. She has also earned specializations as a Level 1 Nutritionist through Precision Nutrition, a Level 2 CrossFit Trainer, a USA Weightlifting Level 1 coach, and a certified Strength Coach through the National Council on Strength and Fitness. Holly approaches health from her background in classroom education with a goal of making information about fitness and nutrition more widely available and easier to understand so that health and wellness can be more accessible to all.

    Valerie Johnson is an ERS Wellness Consultant at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas and is passionate about educating her community and peers in best lifestyle practices to thrive in better health. Valerie holds a Master of Science Degree in Nutrition and Integrative Health and a Post - Baccalaureate Certificate in Health and Wellness Coaching. She supports the North/Northeast region of Texas for the ERS account with a focus on health education and wellness initiative planning and implementation strategy. Valerie relishes in supporting others reach their fullest potential to flourish, and age with vitality, living a holistic healthy lifestyle!

    Liz Atkisson is an ERS Wellness Consultant who has a desire to help others understand health and wellness for long term benefits. Liz holds a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology and Bachelors in Exercise Sport Science with a minor in Psychology. She has experience in a military clinic, hospital and clinic wellness setting and corporate employee wellness programs in Central Texas. She has a passion for wellness and loves encouraging people to become healthier in their daily lives though exercise, nutrition, emotional, and social. When not at work, she enjoys spending time her family and grocery shopping for local products.
