Getting Started

The Accessibility Resource Center (ARC) is committed to providing communication access that facilitates the academic, professional and personal goals of Deaf and hard of hearing faculty, staff, students and guests for all academic needs as well as student organizational needs, student support services, campus tours, lecture series and all other university events.

The commonly used modes of communication access are sign language interpreters; CART (real-time captioning); notetakers; assistive listening devices; and preferential seating. Other modes of communication access may be available as needed.

Deaf and hard of hearing faculty, staff, students, and guests should review and adhere to the Guidelines for Communication Access in order to ensure effective communication access.
