Professional Accounting

The graduate certificate in Professional Accounting (GCPA) is a 15-hour non-degree seeking program that provides advanced accounting coursework.

  • Designed for candidates who intend to pursue CPA certification and need to obtain additional credits in accounting.
  • Serves accounting professionals who seek to update and expand their accounting knowledge and skills through graduate-level coursework

The certificate program requires the completion of five graduate courses (15 credits).

Both full-time and part-time students may obtain the certificate. Applications are accepted throughout the year and students are admitted in Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. The length of the program will vary depending on how many courses the student completes in any given semester.

Banking and Credit Analysis

Our Banking and Credit Analysis undergraduate certificate teaches the foundational knowledge and skills needed for careers in the banking industry. This program is recommended for finance students who aspire to advance their careers or transition to commercial banking. It's also designed for commercial lenders seeking to continue their education on credit analysis and loan transactions. 

By enrolling in this 18-hour program, you will learn advanced writing and communication skills in commercial banking, to conduct credit analysis, evaluate commercial loans' risks and performance and present proposals and reports. Upon graduation, you will be equipped to determine creditworthiness to inform lending decisions for banks, board members, investment firms or corporate departments.
