Student of the Month
Each month during the academic year (September-May), the history department honors one undergraduate history major or minor as the Student of the Month. All previous winners are eligible for the department's Student of the Year award.

November 2025
Sarah Hoke graduated from Silsbee High School in 2023 and transferred to Â鶹ӳ»Ó°Òô. She made the President's List in Spring 2025 and is currently doing research for class on the Big Thicket National Preserve. She loves exploring national parks, including the Big Bend National Park in West Texas.
