Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA)

Texas residents who are not eligible for federal aid through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) due to their citizenship status may be eligible for state or institutional aid by completing the Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA). The TASFA is typically available each year on October 1. For 2025-2026, the TASFA application will become available when the FAFSA becomes widely available in December 2024.
